This is the return-by-date page in a library book I got out. I asked them for some books on alchemy, so they ordered some in for me. As you can probably see in the picture, it was first taken out of the library in 1937, then last taken out (before me) in 1966. I thought this was pretty cool.
So the first time it was taken out was before the First World War, and the last time it was taken out was 48 years ago! I haven’t had a chance to look through the book yet, so I don’t know if it’s any good, but it is a nice piece of history 😉
