Very very sorry for the lack of posts lately! Sometimes it just slips my mind and I get out of the habit of writing posts. πŸ™‚

This is a close-up of my new saxophone. I’m attempting to learn how to play it as it’s supposed to be the easiest thing to play after playing the flute (something I’ve been doing for a few years). Flute was so much easier – and lighter!

Okay, I need a photo for today and didn’t have anything prepared, so I’ve just picked a random picture from my collection that I quite like and put it on here.P1080782

It took me ages to get a non-blurry shot of these flowers, they kept moving in the breeze! I like the colours but the white splodge in the background is a bit distracting. It would be pretty easy to edit out but this is just straight from the SD card.

This is the return-by-date page in a library book I got out. I asked them for some books on alchemy, so they ordered some in for me. As you can probably see in the picture, it was first taken out of the library in 1937, then last taken out (before me) in 1966. I thought this was pretty cool.

So the first time it was taken out was before the First World War, and the last time it was taken out was 48 years ago! I haven’t had a chance to look through the book yet, so I don’t know if it’s any good, but it is a nice piece of history πŸ˜‰

Message to self: stop slacking and start blogging! I keep putting off posts and skipping subjects – but that ends now! Let’s get on with today’s post.

Recently, I’ve really got into the area of panels in my photography, so I thought I’d do one for today’s post. Hmm. . . let’s call this oneΒ Green πŸ™‚

green collage

Just realized this is more of a collage than a panel, but oh well πŸ™‚ You can probably tell what they all are apart from the one next to the t-shirt – that’s a doormat, just close-up. See you tomorrow!

Hey hey! It’s Pancake day! (I didn’t make that rhyme on purpose!)

I took this photo this morning when my sister sophofbread was making pancakes. I was helping her out for her pancake day post over on Home-ed Heads. Sorry about the reflection in the right-bottom corner, i think it’s a bit of oil or something, but I didn’t notice it at the time. I wanted to make a purple pancake, because that’s the colour of lent, but when I told her I wasn’t going to eat it, sophofbread told me she didn’t want to waste the batter (she sort of adores pancakes!) Happy pancake eating!
